About Me
I’m an internal medicine physician and writer in Chicagoland. I write creative nonfiction, essays, and humor.
I’m certified in narrative medicine, have studied comedy writing with The Second City, and have taught health humanities courses for medical students, residents, and faculty.
In my essays and nonfiction, I like to tackle hard topics, like the human condition. In my humor writing, I do the same thing - just with poop jokes.
Fine Print
Essays and nonfiction are based on real experiences, but with all potentially identifying details changed.
Humor writing is fictional and may not even remotely reflect reality.
